And Bethfest continues

 Bethfest continued last night at Holduvar, a cute club that used to be a university on Margit sziget.

It was an awesome night surrounded by people I love and people I don't know at all :P

 At 3:30 am hamburgers are always a good idea.

Best present ever chocolates from Maxims, which is a French restaurant and it's featured in my favorite film Gigi!

The Start of Bethfest!

So my birthday is on the 29th and I have already started getting pressies and cards!

Summer Daze

After getting caught in the rain on my way to the train, I realized just how badly I needed an umbrella, so I got this one at H&M.

One of my mums students came back from Japan with green tea Kit Kats, I dont like green tea but I do like the Kit Kat flavour!

Peach mojito!

Ingredients

• 3 cups coarsely chopped peeled ripe peaches (about 1 pound)
• 1 teaspoon grated lime rind
• 1 cup fresh lime juice (about 4 large limes)
• 3/4 cup sugar
• 1/2 cup packed mint leaves
• 2 cups white rum
• 4 cups club soda, chilled
• Crushed ice
• Mint sprigs (optional)

Even though I don't really like regular mojitos it was delicious! I highly recommend it!

The Summer of Flavoured Beer

Flavoured beer really seems to be the thing of the moment, with lemon and orange beer everwhere, but I've noticed some beers branching out to flavours like mango and strawberry...

Not entirely sure how they taste...or sure I want to find out..

But Naomi was happy to look down and see Maccabi beer!

Not a big fan of foreign films, but I really liked this one, and the music in it is great!

Down, down, down

You know that feeling when you realize your never going to see someone again?

Not because they are dead, you just wont keep in touch, wont meet up, and don't really make an effort to. It sucks, but at the same time it's nice not feeling any strings of friendship pulling you down. I don't like missing people, especially when I know they don't miss me, so why bother?

And I'm not talking about people you have fights with, I', talking about people you get along well with, people you thought you were really good friends with, then wake up one morning and realize your not.

I just find it's a lot nicer when you don't try and hold onto old friendships, just let it go and live with the people who want to be around you now.

It's very possible this blog post makes no sense to anyone but me, but o well.

My cousins Stevens beautiful little girl had her 8th birthday party on Saturday night!

What Awesome Cousins I Caught Up With

I spent the day last weekend with my cousin Billy and her adorable family!

Cutest kids ever!

We had a great day walking around a botanical park near their house and ate icy poles!
